In this 1920’s English Tudor home the goal was to update the space, yet make it seem as if it had always been there. The design needed to commemorate the original style and keep a stately and dignified presence. However it also needed to be informal, warm, and calmed so that anyone could feel at home in the large home. With added attention to its functionality, a textured, bright, and balanced palette of materials and colors were chosen. Using the latest technology in recessed lighting left just a whisper of direct lighting fixtures on the ceiling leaving the chandeliers their moment to shine. A custom hood decorated the kitchen in the most perfect delicately strong manner that fit right into the concept.
